Years ago, I interviewed for a job at a radio station. I wanted to be a reporter. Nervously, I sat in the news director’s office as he looked over my resume and listened to my audition tape. Finally, he reached into his pocket and rolled a quarter to me. I caught it as it flew off the table. He asked, “How many sides are there to that coin?” I quickly inspected the quarter and hesitantly replied, “Um, two?” He smiled back at me. “Look more carefully.” He pointed to the thinnest part of the coin and asked, “What about that side? When you work for me you’ll learn that, just like this coin, there are more than two sides to a story.”
